David Chromiak

David Matthew Chromiak was born and raised in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Around the age of 15, during a performance of a scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream, Dave realized that he wanted to become an actor. So, he headed off to Erie, Pennsylvania, to attend Gannon University. At Gannon, Dave acted in such plays as Much Ado About Nothing, The Cripple of Inishmann, Enemy of the People, Our Town, Romeo and Juliet, and The Laramie Project. Finally, in '03, he graduated with a Bachelor's in Theatre/Communications.

Since graduating, Dave has worked with the fine people at Hampstead Players in New Hampshire. That's where he met his current girlfriend and tour partner, Erica. While working for Hampstead, Dave toured all over the USA and performed in such states as Texas, California, Mississippi, Colorado, Georgia, New Mexico, and Louisianna. (Dave and Erica were actually the first tour group from Hampstead Players to go back to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.)

Dave is a huge fan of Charles Bukowski, and actually has a life goal of owning every book that Charles Bukowski has ever written. Besides reading, Dave also enjoys playing video games, especially the Wii. He's also an expert on The Simpsons, and a huge fan of all things animation. This would include The Venture Brothers, which Dave has become more than a little obsessed with. He's also an avid music fan, listening to everything from Stevie Wonder to Avail to Frank Sinatra.

Dave would like to thank you for reading his bio, and for putting up with Dave referring to himself in the third person. He will end this with a quote from Mister Charles Bukowski:
"We can't cheat death but we can make it work so hard that when it does take us, it will have known a victory just as perfect as ours."
