Ian Geary studied Theatre and Writing at Drury University in Springfield, MO. He is from Atlanta, GA but has lived most of his life in St. Louis, MO where he has been working as an actor for some time. His past credits include Duke Frederick and Duke Senior in Shakespeare’s As You Like It with the Stone Soup Shakespeare Company based out of Carbondale, IL; Arcite in Two Noble Kinsmen with the St. Louis Shakespeare Company; Collins in the world premiere of Scutter Murphey’s Wake with Back Lot Theatre; Prince Malcolm in Meremec Community College’s MacBeth; and many others. His college credits, among many others, includes Lenny in Rumors; Mr. Goldberg in The Birthday Party; Judge Brack in Hedda Gabler; Baptista in The Taming of the Shrew; Little Bear in Vegetables (which was directed by none other than his fellow acting partner, Brian Knox); Teddy Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace; and Malvolio in Twelfth Night. Besides working in the theatre in almost every capacity (from director to scenic painter), Ian has also worked at the Saint Louis Zoo for two seasons as an Educational Interpreter, teaching the public about animals.
