She is super excited to share the experience of Poetry Alive! with children throughout the country, opening up their eyes to the power and joy of poetry.

Though Katie is terrified of dancing in public, she enjoys spending quality time with good friends, comedy, the outdoors, and sports.

Katie's favorite poem is My Shadow by Robert Louis Livingston.
