Teddy Holmes

A native of Calvary, Georgia, and a graduate of Albany State University and Regent University, where he received his B.A. in Speech & Theatre, and an M.F.A. in Acting, respectively. In recent years, he's been seen performing on the Well's Theatre stage with the Virginia Stage Company and at Zeider's American Dream Theatre. Some beloved past roles include Man/Elegba (Crowns), James Farmer (The Parchman Hour, Songs & Stories of the '61 Freedom Riders), and Lazar Wolf (Fiddler on the Roof). He is also an educator and budding activist. A singing storyteller with his “mind stayed on freedom,” Holmes is a poet on a mission is to inspire revolution and be an authentic voice of truth in this present climate.
